Interesting Facts about the Food and Shelter of the Indus Valley

- One interesting fact that I learned when researching for my project was that the Indus Valley people kept chickens called the Indian Red Jungle Fowl, and they looked nothing like the chickens we see today. The chickens were eaten and the eggs were used for food.
- Another interesting fact that I learned about the Indus Valley people was that they were great farmers. They grew millet, wheat, barley, rice, sorghum, and corn.
- The last interesting fact that I learned about the Indus Valley people was that they had lots of sweets. They had the jujube, grapes and dates. They also had sugar, which came from honey.
